This page covers two neighborhoods in the city’s Roebuck-South East Lake community: Roebuck and Roebuck Springs, which the city’s list calls Roebuck Springs-South Roebuck. Together they cover about 3,200 acres in northeast Birmingham, around Parkway East (U.S. 11) and I-59. The city’s comprehensive plan describes Roebuck-Huffman as one of the city’s suburban-style areas, “developed mostly from the 1960s on,” built for driving, with many streets lacking sidewalks and shopping on the main roads. The plan also asks the city to remove barriers for people walking and cycling to the schools and the medical center in the Huffman-Roebuck area.

35206 $99,980 $103,754 -3.6%
