It covers about 634 acres just north of downtown, built around Norwood Boulevard, where the city lists an 18.84-acre park trail. The city’s comprehensive plan lists “Norwood and 12th Avenue North” as a “priority choice” for strategic action, citing nearby city and county employers, the Norwood Boulevard greenway, a historic school, its bus route, its access to the interstates and the airport, and “attractive housing with rehab potential” in a historic district.
