Pepper Place is a nonprofit that began in the summer of 2000 to help Alabama farming families, the market says. It posts a weekly vendor list and newsletter, chef demonstrations in the Market Kitchen and live music on its site.

SNAP: the market is SNAP certified and matches benefits with Double Up Food Bucks, according to its SNAP page.
